Goals

  1. Provide a centralized point of access to the leading sources of European information;
  2. Combat European illiteracy through the content of the gateway and through organizing events, such as seminars, conferences, and training activities;
  3. Promote a dialogue between citizens and institutions;
  4. Contribute to an involved citizenship;
  5. Raise the visibility of information and documentation specialists as mediating agents between the citizen and the information;
  6. Help build a European Research Area;
  7. Assist citizens through the European Space for Higher Education.
